I was very scared of this item but I needed something to control my 100 lb rescuer Labrador/Great Dane. The rubber tips made me feel a lot better with the product and overall it was great. Once he got used to it (it only lasted about a day), he couldn't walk without it. He made very good progress and didn't pull me down anymore. Win win for both of us and I don't need to use it anymore.

I love this product. I was afraid the needles would go down his throat, but no. After 10 minutes my 110kg 3 year old Malamute and I can finally enjoy our walks. For three years I fought for him to behave well. I bought this spiked collar out of desperation and on the recommendation of my vet. Talk about change for the better. I highly recommend this collar.

We reluctantly bought this after our 2 year old 80 lb dog pounced excitedly at the attention of a young child. Parents did not agree. Our other 50 pound dog likes to sniff things for so long we had to drag him. The straps didn't work. Treatment/assessment training over 2 years did not work. This is the only one that really worked. Feels bad. Feels bad. But now I haven't seen my chiropractor, and dogs are always good. and not adopting frightened strangers as pets.

This collar replaced my dog's old spiked collar which had a plastic clasp that broke. It's a big improvement over the old one as it has tine covers and won't harm my dog who loves to be dressed up and taken for a walk. Because she's big, 65 pounds, and sometimes jumps on cats and other dogs, I feel safe with her and my dog lovers love her too. As I have some physical issues due to health issues I am grateful for the ease with which I can attach and open it on my dog.

We now have two pointy collars - my wife puts the small one on our dog and I put the large one on our dog. barking in the car! I like cutting and removing large collars - small collars require pinching to open the collar which is difficult for me. I've seen people put a collar around a dog's face, but I'm afraid a sudden movement will blind the dog! This collar seems oversized - I wish I could find a less impressive collar that could be easily removed.

I have adopted a German Shepherd who I believe has never been on a leash before. Overall I'm happy with this product except for one thing: the force required to take the prongs out and back in while you're adjusting it . dog neck. It is incredibly difficult to "pinch" these prongs. The video with the girl saying you grit your teeth is a complete joke. It takes more than a pinch!
