I have used (and tried) a few tire inflator/gauges. ). The one that lasted ($20 range) only had a "scale ejector pin" and was very difficult to read the pressure (although it eventually failed because the rubber tubing became brittle) and the rubber seal in the pressure cartridge was worn out. Before I gave up and spent $50-100 on a pro I tried this. It has now been in use for several months. Very easy to use and read. The light turns on after 2 seconds when the tire valve cartridge is pressed against the valve. while everything works. The only issue I've had (and removed a star for accuracy) is that the self-locking tire checker doesn't provide a proper seal and has to be held/pressed manually. They should simply be clamped onto the valve (check your tire dealer, stick them on and leave them alone) and seal them. Good sensor for the money, let's see how long it lasts.
