I bought this card reader after seeing how fast it was in an fstoppers review. It's really a lot faster than my Lexar (black box). I was surprised that my Kingston (silver USB 3.0 multireader) was only slightly slower, which makes it much better. However, the Prograde reader works well, looks very well made, has a very handy magnetic base, comes with both USB-C and traditional USB cables, and even comes with a nice silver metallic "sticker" that you can use can stick anywhere, for example on the lid of a MacBook Pro. It also has 2 SD card slots, which is very handy for people like me who shoot with two cameras a lot. Overall I'm happy with it, but if you're looking for almost the same performance on a budget, the Kingston All-in-One Reader (ASIN: B00VAGX6MW) is hard to beat as it delivers the most performance for 1/3 the price . with only one SD slot.
