Well made and fast but a bit pricey

I bought this card reader after seeing how fast it was in an fstoppers review. It's really a lot faster than my Lexar (black box). I was surprised that my Kingston (silver USB 3.0 multireader) was only slightly slower, which makes it much better. However, the Prograde reader works well, looks very well made, has a very handy magnetic base, comes with both USB-C and traditional USB cables, and even comes with a nice silver metallic "sticker" that you can use can stick anywhere, for example on…

Nice and easy to assemble, but a bit pricey

The perfect SD card reader - note cable length

I record a lot of videos and find that I need to load multiple high capacity UHS-II SD cards at the same time. Every other card reader I've tried is MUCH slower when loading parallel cards onto your computer. That's the first thing I noticed that's not the case. Swapping out (2) 128GB Sony M cards gives me 480MB/s on my computer. This is close to the card's maximum rated speed and much faster than any other multi-reader I've ever used. The UHS-II card reader is just great! The case is pleasant. It's durable, attractive, heavy (which means quality workmanship), and has a magnetic base that attaches to a metal PC case. As for performance. I tested this SD card reader with a Transcend V90 card and was very happy with its performance.
