Review on πŸ’₯ ProGrade Digital SD UHS-II Dual-Slot Memory Card Reader: Unleashing Speed & Performance for Filmmakers, Photographers & Content Creators! by Mike Krzywicki

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice and easy to assemble, but a bit pricey

I bought this card reader after seeing a review from fstoppers that said how fast it was. It's really a lot faster than my Lexar (black box). I was surprised that my Kingston (silver USB 3.0 multireader) was only slightly slower, which makes it much better. However, the Prograde reader works well, looks very well made, has a very handy magnetic base, comes with both USB-C and traditional USB cables, and even comes with a nice silver metallic "sticker" that you can stick with anywhere can stick, for example on the lid of a MacBook Pro. It also has 2 SD card slots, which is very handy for people like me who shoot with two cameras a lot. Overall I'm happy with it, but if you're looking for almost the same performance on a budget, the Kingston All-in-One Reader (ASIN: B00VAGX6MW) is hard to beat as it delivers the most performance for 1/3 the price . with only one SD slot.

Pros
  • DESIGNED FOR LIFE ON THE MOVE: Wherever you go, the included self-adhesive metal plate attaches the magnetic card reader to your laptop, transforming it into a compact mobile workstation. Streamline your workflow at the top of a mountain, in the back seat of a car ride, or wherever life takes you.
Cons
  • No performance
