Review on 💧 Matic Switch Moisture Rule 40FA: Efficient Solution for Controlling Moisture by Mark Bennett

I bought this to replace a faulty original float switch in 2002 on a 36ft sailboat that has been in good service for 18 years. I was glad it was the same size as the original and wiring and installation was a breeze. Two months later, on a summer cruise, I found it out of order when I was surprised by a full hold. Very disappointed. Such a mistake could cause the boat to sink if not recovered. I am particularly amazed that such a key component can fail so easily and quickly. The bottom is clean and free of debris that could affect the operation of the float. There is no reason why this should have failed.
