I have several dials, wanted to get a cheap knock piece. Not bad, but I just had a little "roughness" in the gradient in certain places. Opened the back and all was fine, applied a thin coat of very light oil to the gears and after about 50 hits it smoothed out a bit. This article corresponds roughly to the article Port Freight. If you're willing to spend more on the Fowler name, so be it. It is made in China.
