I don't think many people realize that they are not intended for actual use as tactical elbow pads. The price alone should be a sure sign. However, for novelty and props, it's just fantastic. Inexpensive and strong enough to complete a military suit. I bought mine for the Ghostbusters costume which came out great! They lasted the entire shoot as I was pulled and then oiled. I was lucky enough to use it for Halloween that same year. I think you will be satisfied with this product once you understand that it is an inexpensive, non-functional (like real tactical mat) prop.
