Fits my 1999 GMC Sierra truck. I applied silicone.

Fits my 1999 GMC Sierra truck. I glued silicone (for kitchen and bathroom) in addition to the double sided tape that came with the mirror.

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

The mirror is cut wrong; Poor installation

It works but doesn't fit my 1999 Suburban. Watch the video. The mirror has a recessed bowl that holds the glass. This replacement mirror fits into the recessed compartment on three sides and protrudes 16 inches on the fourth. One would think that in the world of perfectly cutting CNC machines etc. this would not happen. It also works functionally. Cosmetically, no. I wouldn't buy it again and would try a different brand instead. Hope this helps someone.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Useless features

Doesn't fit perfectly, but looks high quality.

The mirror comes with huge pieces of double sided tape stretching left to right the full width of the mirror, that's great! The mirror itself was a bit large compared to the pocket it's supposed to sit in on the mirror body, and one edge protrudes noticeably beyond the frame. I'm worried this means the tape wasn't fully compressed and activated, but time will tell if it holds up. Overall, I'll probably use a different brand if needed.

Good for '96 Chevy 2500

I got into the truck one morning and closed the door and the mirror glass just fell out. I was considering a complete replacement but decided to give it a try for a few bucks first. As other people have said in their reviews, it doesn't fit perfectly, maybe at 1/16 and once you've attached it will get stuck. It has been running for a few months now and it works well and clearly. You have to look very closely to see that it's a hair too big, and who does it? I would recommend this product.

  • Easy to read control panel

I have a 1999 Yukon SLT. Description page.

I have a 1999 Yukon SLT. The description page said 'Fits your 1999 Yukon. I have confirmed that I have ordered a driver's side mirror. IT WILL NOT FIT THE BACK PLATE. Mirror. I've never seen a Yukon with manual mirrors. mirrors over 10 inches; 10 1/8. Take the mirror out of the packaging without destroying the cardboard stand to which the mirror was glued. So how do you intend to get him? back, and who needs that kind of hassle with a ten dollar purchase!

Not exactly as advertised

The passenger side mirror appears to be primarily designed to fit over existing glass. If you remove the old mirror before installation, the new glass will NOT fit in the frame. It's so bad I hope it doesn't fall out. Now that I have one installed I would recommend throwing that item away and buying a complete mirror assembly for an additional $10-20. The mirror assembly is more difficult to install, but the fit and quality is better. The driver's side fits better, but not completely into theโ€ฆ

Inexpensive replacement mirror with transparency

This replacement mirror was a good choice for this quality. I would rate it five stars but the fit wasn't perfect. It didn't fit perfectly into the edges of the mirror and was slightly larger (see the bottom right corner of the mirror image) but barely noticeable. The reflection in the mirror was clear and "Things in the mirror are closer than they appear" was printed beautifully and clearly. Highly recommend to replace your broken side rear view mirror. I ordered an extra 3m double tape andโ€ฆ

Great result, took a bit of work to install on my Astro-Van

. I have a 2005 Chevy Astro van. Not sure if the driver's side mirror was replaced or not, but I removed the old glass to find a new mirror didn't fit the recess 100%. Knowing this, I would leave the broken glass and stick it right on top of it. After I removed the plastic brace and filed the edge down with a razor (very funny), the rear brace no longer had a raised edge and the mirror looks great. Very clear, much more so than a similar product that I recently bought to replace a mirror on aโ€ฆ

Easy to install, looks great

Fits my 1995 Chevy C2500 Cheyenne well - maybe 1/32" in places, or maybe I just didn't line it up perfectly. A definite improvement over the cracked and broken glass that came before. I cleaned all the parts first before tightening them. The double-sided tape is so thick that if it doesn't line up perfectly with the edge of the plastic, it's not a problem. Installation Tip: The backing paper on one side of the tape has a free edge that is easy to grab, while the papers on the other side don'tโ€ฆ
