A good product. I bought mainly for hunting and.

Good product. Bought mainly for hunting and gardening. They are less bulky and hold up better than the construction knee pads you buy. The plastic panel on the front of the knee pad is stiff but offers some support. I would recommend stiff but it offers some grip. I would recommend them.

Cons
  • Don't know

I bought them to replace some.

I bought these to replace some machines that require me to kneel for 45 minutes. The plastic part of the seal was loosely attached with a piece of rope and broke off. They also run a bit small. I have found that the straps cause a lot of discomfort after wearing this product for a long time. If I had gone through these, I might do it again.

Maybe better on skates, skateboards and scooters

I bought these for Tough Mudder. They didn't absorb a lot of water and were comfortable enough to walk without chafing your feet. They showed up as expected, dodging obstacles, but one of the rivets fell off. In addition, the front panel likes to pick up dirt. And no matter how slick they were up front, they sometimes stuck to the dirt. However, they never came loose and did not require adjustment throughout the event.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Don't buy, you get what you pay for.

What the hell. Rothco claims to make products for real-world use, but apparently that's just for show. When I spoke to my friends about Rothco after I bought them, they all said these things were poorly made. These knee pads fell apart within the first hour of use. On both knee pads, the plate detached from the pad in several places, and that with light use. I have used other knee pads before and have never had a failure like this.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

  • Sun-Sun

Good novelty or props

I don't think many people realize that they are not intended for actual use as tactical elbow pads. The price alone should be a sure sign. However, for novelty and props, it's just fantastic. Inexpensive and strong enough to complete a military suit. I bought mine for the Ghostbusters costume which came out great! They lasted the entire shoot as I was pulled and then oiled. I was lucky enough to use it for Halloween that same year. I think you will be satisfied with this product once you…

Hard but sweaty

These are painter type knee pads very handy to protect your knees from rocky or hard surfaces. They are well padded and, if you don't move too much, quite comfortable. The velcro straps are a bit short but do almost the job of holding the pads in place. My only issue is that because the straps ensure the pads stay firmly in place (otherwise they will slip and your knee will hit the hard ground) they cause a lot of sweating and eventually irritation if you use them longer than one wear hour .…

Excellent, versatile, affordable, durable.

These knee pads are great they fit great you just have to adjust them they fit all sizes so if you are skinny you might need something a little tighter. They are great for airsoft, paintball, mountain biking, snowboarding, military Halloween costumes, hiking, camping, etc. Just to avoid hurting your knees. They're comfortable, soft, and adjustable, but remember they're not complementary to real knee pads that are designed to do specific things. Think of them as an extra support that's…
