The PINEAT digital food thermometer is great. The packaging is nice and secure, and the thermometer comes with a few extras: velcro straps and an extra battery, as well as a meat temperature guide and manual. Now, as for the real thermometer… it comes with the battery already installed, and you just have to twist the stem to turn it on. The digital readings are clear and there are buttons to set the readings to Fahrenheit or Celsius. The front also states that there is an automatic screen rotation, so no matter which way you turn the thermometer, the temperature reading is always displayed. I got a little carried away and tried different dishes, cold and hot. The thermometer starts measuring the temperature immediately and takes about 4 seconds to get an accurate reading. I was impressed with the quick response and would recommend this thermometer to anyone wanting to make sure their meat is being cooked properly. I will definitely use this again!
