Review on ZEXMTE Adjustable Foldable 4 7 12 9 Phones by Ben Chase

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Really holds the weight of the tablet without bouncing and can take great shots from above

Comes in a nice outer box It opens and the top flap shows how to use it. It is made in China. It states that "the stand is compatible with 4.7-inch-12.9-inch mobile phones or tablets". The information on the product page states that the holder has a "double-sided expandable inner size from 4.7" to 8.5"; it is ideal for mobile phones and tablets with a screen size of 4.7" to 12.9". " So it can be misleading. Saying it's perfect for 4.7-12.9" phones and tablets might mean that a 12.9" tablet would fit vertically in the holder. But you can't. For example, the iPad Pro is a 12.9" tablet. It's 11.04" high and 8.46" wide. So this stand can hold the tablet horizontally as it extends up to 8.5". opens but cannot hold vertically as the desk is 11.04". Of course, the stand has 360 degree rotation. So if you want to shoot vertically, all you have to do is place the device horizontally and then rotate it vertically So it's not really a problem, but I wanted to mention it anyway The C-clamp base with non-slip pads for gt adds an aluminum arm to ensure your desk surface is scratch-resistant and provides excellent stability.” "The arm with two adjustable shafts can adjust the height and expand the working space; Flexible arms with 360 degree rotation and multi-angle rotation provide comfortable viewing angles.” The product page states that the stand "fits anywhere up to 1.78”. I opened it all the way and I think it opens up a bit more than that. Looking at my tape measure it looks like it could open a little more than 2 inches (I show a photo with the tape measure fully open and the tape measure is as good as I could make it stay in place and take a picture 😂) . So I think you have a LITTLE wiggle room. There is a handle that you twist to open and close the clamp. When I first tried to open it, I noticed that it didn't seem like it would open any more than it already was, but that didn't make sense because it was a long screw and it didn't was near the end. . So, at the top of the clamp, just below, I held it and kind of pushed it up while turning the knob with my other hand. This helped him open up more easily and quickly. (I show a photo with an arrow pointing to what I'm talking about if I don't understand 😂). The stand has weight. It's not overly heavy, but has just enough weight to feel strong and durable. When I put my iPad in it, I don't worry about it not bearing the weight and falling down with my iPad. It also folds inward so it can be made compact enough not to be difficult to store. I used to have a gooseneck holder and it was always awkward to carry and store. It was a gooseneck so I could bend it, but it was a strong gooseneck so it was difficult to bend enough to fold tightly. So it's so cool that it has a hinge and folds easily! I've been looking for a good mount for my iPad for a long time. I needed something to record video from above and keep it stable. I didn't want it to be too close either, but I wanted to be able to change the height if I needed to. It seemed perfect so I hoped it lived up to my expectations! And it happened. And even more! That's great! Serious! This is the first tablet holder that securely holds my tablet (iPad 6th gen) and doesn't shake it every time I touch it to press play or take a picture. It's not slow to move from the position I put it in because it can't support the tablet's weight. When I put it in the right position, it stays there and holds the tablet in place. It can shoot from above (actually from above when my tablet is perfectly horizontal, I shoot horizontally with the table, not at an angle). I love it! A small complaint I have is that I have to use an allen wrench to adjust the arm angle. This means I always have to have a hex key with me and I can't lose it, it's small and seems easy to use. But I'm willing to deal with it because if I need to adjust my arm with it, it's probably stable enough that a light touch (or even a good, normal touch 😂) doesn't wobble the tablet. When I use tablet holders on my flexible neck, the damn things bounce at the slightest touch and take forever to stop bouncing. it's a pain So, I'm ready to delve into the Allen key! All in all it's amazing! If you're looking for a well-made, strong and durable tablet holder that can easily support the weight of your tablet, then this is for you! This is PERFECT for taking photos or videos from above. I've almost given up trying to find a tablet holder that can take real bird's eye photos/videos and support the weight of my tablet instead of bouncing around. I'm so glad I found this. I definitely recommend it!
