There are three women with long hair in the house. The holes in the shower drain cap are tiny and I didn't want to take them off (long story). My other snakes and tools didn't go through the holes. This baby was just the right size. Buy a 30 inch shower separator model. It takes a little patience and gentle twisting and wiggling to get the end through the trap instead of curling up under the lid. Do not use force or you will break the shaft. Removed enough hair to clear the blockage. Sweet. Throw it in the trash when you're done. Worth every penny.
