IS POSSIBLE: All you need is a good instruction manual. I googled and no matter how hard I tried the thing did NOT work to mount the valve properly. I wasted my time and delayed the project. It's difficult enough to get the valve to stop on conventional lapping machines, but it was next to impossible on this machine. Exercise didn't seem to help either.
