Review on πŸ₯€ Dakoufish 12 Piece 11 Inch Reusable Plastic Thick Drinking Straws - BPA Free Mason Jar Straws in 12 Plain Colors (11inch,12color) by Kwame Bandepalli

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Affordable straws that fit thermoses up to 16 oz.

My son used the smaller 12oz mug. Thermos funtainer when he was younger. But now that he's older, we've had to step up to the larger 20oz. the size. Unfortunately, they either stopped producing 20 ounce straw. Funtainer or discontinued because we can only find those with a spout (https://www.amazon.com/Thermos-Funtainer-Ounce-Bottle-Charcoal/dp/B00CBFAF20/ref=sr_1_1? ie=UTF8&qid=1503603999&sr=8 -1&keywords =fun+16+oz). My son still prefers using a straw to a spout, and I was concerned that his drinks would spill freely onto his backpack or car floor, etc. if the lid accidentally pops open (which has happened multiple times), so I really wanted to do that he has a straw because if it accidentally opens it will be at least a slow leak. The Funtainer caps are the same size although Thermos customer service has convinced me they are not. Their replacement straws are easy to find at places like Target and Revain - 6&keywords=fun). However, the hard inner straws (the part that is in the liquid) are too short as they are designed for the 12 oz size. I have tried these long straws and found that they fit well and can replace a 12oz straw. the size. I just cut the length, which was easily done with a pair of sharp scissors. Straws are so cheap that after a few months I can just throw them away and replace them with new ones; much more hygienic. Now I can make as many 20 ounces. Straw funtainers how I want and don't bother with the spout.
