First, it requires no papers or manuals, not even a simple quick start guide. That would be fine as it seems to go without saying, but when I plugged it in nothing happened. None of the buttons worked, not even the power button. Even a piece of paper that says "device needs to charge for ____ hours before turning it on" would be reassuring, since most devices will work as soon as you turn them on. There isn't even an indicator to show that the charging cable is getting juice! An hour after leaving it plugged in, there was still no sign of life, but my charging case and included cable felt hot, which doesn't happen when I'm charging other things. (This device does not come with a charging box, only a Type-C charging cable.) I have replaced both the cable and the charger with another one. Nothing. I tried different outlets, tested the cord, and blocked other devices to make sure they worked. At this point I was so frustrated and wasted a lot of time with a faulty instrument. Since it never turned on I can't view it other than the unit I received was obviously broken. I can't tell if it frizzes, your hair gets tangled, anything. I am sorry. I'm sorry to give that one star when the unit I received was exceptional and the others that have been sent out to people are great, but I don't know what else to do with a product , which I can't use and can't return.
