Review on πŸ” Small Lee's Triple-Flow Corner Filter for Enhanced SEO by Emily Wilson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Cheap but seems to work great.

I usually buy small angle filters with the media that goes with them. I take them out and put them in a new tank every time I start a new tank to give the bacteria a good boost. While these have always worked and came with a carrier, the one I ordered didn't arrive on time so I took a chance with this filter. It's been a day in my aquarium and here are my very first thoughts. Cons: The plastic is very thin, it comes disassembled and requires assembly. It doesn't have the small pilot nozzle that my others have. Pros: WOW, in a few hours in my tank, the filter floss lifted a noticeable amount of dirt out of my water. I didn't have any charcoal so I used eheim bio balls on the bottom and filter floss on top. There is already a fair amount of dirt in the filter thread. The filter seems strong and effective. I actually like that it came out empty because I can use whatever combination of organic beads, activated charcoal, and filter floss I see fit. My BN catfish immediately went to the jar above this filter and sat happily in the bubble jet. If it keeps working, maybe I'll switch to this type of filter. We'll see how things hold up in a few months.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly
