Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Attwood 11953-4 All-In-One Hoist System: Efficient Kayak, Canoe, and Bike Storage Solution in Sleek Black Finish by Sabryna Wickings

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I had to watch the video to understand what's supposed to be there.

There are MANY of these hoists. So I ended up just clicking one to get it done. I agree with the statements on the directions. I had to watch the video to figure out that there really should be two strings to pull when all is said and done (first time using a pulley system so maybe I should have known). However, I still can't figure out the locking system. But I wanted to give feedback on the straps that came with it. I wish I could figure out how to add a photo to this review. I mean. INDEED? They are super long. When I lifted the kayak to its maximum height in my 10 foot garage, it hung around my waist. Yes, I'm 6ft 7in, but no vehicle could park under these things. My solution was to use the straps that came with my Thule kayak's roof rack. With their help, I was able to tie the boat tightly to the hull. Hook to hang higher. Too bad there isn't anything like that. I would give 5 stars.
