I bought it for two reasons: First, I hate it when people look over my shoulder at work. Second, my kids have a nasty habit of leaving fingerprints on my laptop screen. I have a nice, shiny new 15" Retina MacBook and I want it to look its best. The good news is that the product works as advertised (camera cutout) that it doesn't detract from the sleek lines of the MacBook. The less good is that it reduces the clarity of the Retina display a bit and at a normal viewing distance you can see small diagonal lines across the screen, giving the illusion that the display is a bit pixelated - exactly what you probably DON'T want in one Retina display TL,DR: This is (as always) a compromise between privacy and screen clarity works great but slightly decreases the clarity of the retina display.
