Review on BenQ EW3280U Entertainment Connectivity Speakers 3841X2160, High Dynamic Range, by Craig Conroy

I had a BenQ monitor for about 10 years, which was a workhorse and never let me down until it started to become spotty with age. That's why I bought another BenQ: I expected quality. This monitor is disappointing. Crappy speakers. I expected the sound quality to be as good as the built-in speakers on my 16-inch MacBookPro. Speech levels are muted and bass levels take precedence over speakers, so distortion is almost always present. I can't watch movies without subtitles. There are issues with image quality over USB-C. Go for this monitor and find something different. I sincerely regret this purchase.
