When I first used this I had to cook 2 batches of pasta. My first batch was great, however metal shavings stuck to the noodles as I rolled them through the roller. I ended up having to roll out a whole batch and 1/3 of the paste just to get the metal shavings out of the machine. After doing this, the product worked fine. I would advise buyers to be prepared and depending on the recipe used, your pasta will expand as it cooks. I saw a review here from a person who made ravioli that didn't include the filling. They also mentioned that they cooked the ravioli on setting #2. This setting is the second thickest of the nine, so be prepared for your noodles to swell and you'll be fine.
