This is the electric motor that powers my camper van's running boards. The old motor could not fully retract the steps with the door closed. First we cut off the power supply to the motor. Then we loosened the power clamp, unscrewed the three screws and removed the old motor. We changed the process by installing a new motor, tightening three bolts and reconnecting the power clamp. We restored power to the motor and tested the system. Stairs work like new again. The trickier part of the installation was aligning each screw hole with the top and bottom gaskets. The appropriately sized Phillips screwdriver shank ensured proper alignment. Did. "We" refers to my son-in-law and I. He crawled under the RV and did the job, and I sat in a chair and handed him the tools. Worked great for me and it was a valuable experience.! :-)
