I was very excited when I saw that there is now a medium sized version of this feeder. Bought the small version twice. I have been using small birdhouses for over a year. I had no problems with them and they worked great. I didn't expect the middle version to break after two weeks of use. I don't know why it has two cracks considering I didn't drop it or hit anything. The two small birdhouses I have been using for over a year have no cracks and are in excellent condition. The bird feeder helps reduce the mess my birds make and helps reduce waste by picking up pellets they haven't eaten. I have a cocktail and a green cheeked kennel that I kept in separate cages. My two birds have been living together in a large Prevue Hendryx flight cage for 9 months now. They get along well and love to cuddle together at night. However, they are not very good at sharing food, even when there are two eaters in the cage. The medium version of the bird feeder is big enough to surprisingly accommodate my two birds. It turned out to be a lot bigger than I expected and holds tons of pellets. It was easy to install, just like the small version, and easy to clean too. It doesn't come with a little plastic ramp like the small version, but with a dowel. Aside from the cracks and hoping it doesn't crack again, I still love the bird feeder. I just don't want to buy it again so quickly if it breaks.
