Exactly what I was looking for. I have a large, sturdy dustpan that is my main one. The holes on this one are so small it could take forever to use as a main shovel and it's plastic so I don't think it will hold up. But there are holes in my sturdy dustpan that are too big to hold all the small pieces of dirty trash. I also have an Arm & Hammer tray with strainer; These holes are also too large, and small pieces of contaminated debris fall into them. I used this scoop after I finished my basic cleaning to get all the small bits out. I only scoop out the top layer, half an inch or less, to get small pieces. The holes are so small that they also collect rocks which seem to be part of my trash.
