Review on Celestial Seasonings Bengal Spice Herbal Tea - Caffeine Free, 20 Tea Bags, Pack of 6 by Jason Marquez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bengali spice is delicious, but IBS sufferers should use it with caution.

I love this tea so much I feel like I've found herbal tea nirvana. However, about the time I started drinking it, I had a sharp increase in, say, the rate of intestinal fermentation. I racked my brains trying to figure out what kind of food had such an effect on me every night, but I didn't eat the same thing every night. Then I happened to notice that the second ingredient listed in this tea is roasted chicory. It's also an ingredient in Fiber One bars (which I like the taste of too, but I've personally renamed it Fart 100 bars). Therefore, I will unfortunately no longer drink this tea with casual devotion to myself. I won't do without it entirely, but I regard every bag as a potential explosive 😉

Pros

Cons
  • Only available in black
