I have a cat and have used ziplock bags when changing or cleaning the litter box. But ziplock bags (good quality) are too expensive and there aren't many bags in the box. Needless to say, I've gone through way too many ziplock bags in a short amount of time... including using ziplock bags to toss wet trash (food) in before throwing it in the bin. Decided I had to find something better because firstly the zippered bags were overpriced compared to the number of bags in the box and I kept buying them. Second, even after I sealed the ziplock bags, I still smelled (irritating smell) hints of trash in the trash. I found these bags and I am so happy! Due to the fact that I have arthritis and live in a dorm, I can't always take out the trash when I change the litter box, so the litter sometimes stays in the trash for a few days. . When using these bags, I do NOT smell and smell the traces of dirt in the trash. At this price and the number of bags in a box, I can afford to pack them twice. But even one bag is enough. These bags contain odors. The lavender scent smelled faintly of lavender. But my main concern was to contain the smell, which it did. I will definitely buy more.
