I use this on my almost 6 year old when he is doing homework. He is always wanting to get up, stand up, move around. and is basically always just distracting himself. I have a friend who's son has SPD (Sensory Processing Disorder) and she told me she uses one of these and it helps her son, so I thought I would give it a try even though my son doesn't struggle with SPD it has helped him and he thinks it is fun to sit on. I recomended it to a friend whos son has ADHD and it has helped him out A LOT! So from a mom point of view, this is great. I've even sat on it myself doing some sewing and it actually doesn't make my back hurt as much as just sitting usually does.
