
This lens was my entry point into the world of photography. It functions flawlessly in a studio setting with controlled lighting. It's wonderful outside, too. When the shutter speed is greater than 1/125, blur occurs. If the hands are where they should be or if there is a tripod, it works nicely in the dark. I found it challenging to photograph family gatherings while he was around; I always ended up hiding in a corner to get everyone in the shot. Ideal for a novice, but additional width is required.
