Buy Something Stronger

I put all four under the washing machine I was going to move. I wasn't overweight. After putting them back in place, I couldn't get the washing machine to move. I specifically chose a trolley model with caster wheels so I could easily move it in any direction so I couldn't figure out what the problem was. . I finally got the carts out from under the washing machine. The problem became apparent immediately (see attached photo). One of the wheels has been turned almost entirely sideways to its axis. Its axle came loose and it became less of a wheel and more of a piece of plastic. What good is a steel surface if it's attached to flimsy plastic wheels? These wheels don't have the carrying capacity for sensible pieces of furniture. And if you read the product description carefully, you'll see that the 200-pound limit isn't just for one cart, it's for three of them combined. This means a tricycle cart can only carry about 67 pounds. The weight of the furniture will exceed the weight limit of these carts, and even furniture that doesn't doesn't give you much safety margin. My proposition? Spend a few bucks more to get a £500+ set from SOLEJAZZ or Ronlap (which also come with lifts), for example. I only give the product 2 stars instead of 1 because I like low prices. Profile, pivoting version. So if you want something really light, this could be for you.

Pros
  • Easy to Use: Ideal for moving bulky and heavy loads around the home, shop or garage.
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
