Well, I've just turned 50 and as my mother always says, after a certain age you can't have long hair anymore? I now have the longest hair of my life and I LOVE it! What did you say? I'm going to have my hair cut and trimmed in a few days but 2 days ago I ordered this wand based on the great reviews. I've always loved the look of "beachy" waves and wanted them for a while but put it off thinking it would be too much of a hassle. I've used both curling irons and hot rollers in the past - they're good, but I don't like the look of a Barbie doll (IMO). I want a more bohemian - natural look. Spring? I have it with this wand. I'm still learning so sorry for the pics but I've had the wand for 2 days and I'm VERY happy with the results. I will say that figuring out how to curl your hair takes a bit of work (something I'm still learning) but so far the look is amazing and I love my hair! By the way? I grew up with VERY thin hair - nothing to hold it back (my mom used to put invisible bobby pins in my hair ((yes, invisible bobby pins, remember those?)) and it was the only ((per night: )) that frizzed my hair. Now? Thanks to Hi-Lites and more mature? My hair is more textured but still difficult to curl - this curling iron really works! I let the wand stay in my hair for 15-20 seconds. Please feel Feel free to message me with any questions - I am VERY happy with this wand and would consider getting an even thinner one (it's orange and 1 inch I think) just to give it a different look or if I cut my hair :-) Not sure about this wand?
