I bought an Occer 12x25, a Nikon Aculon 10x25 and a Bushnell H2O Xtreme 10x42 to compare. Occer was significantly weaker than the two supposedly 2x weak major brands (actually probably 8x), so we won't go into that further. This Nikon is lightweight, looks well made and has great magnification. I could easily put it in my jacket pocket or wear it around my neck all day. However, Nikon has nothing in terms of waterproofing or anti-fog and Bushnell has both, plus it's much more solidly built and feels better in the hand. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to return it or keep it as a backup or for my wife, but Bushnell won this round. However, these are quality binoculars.
