Wrong cup size from the packaging. I cleaned it, I thought, maybe there's some junk from the production. It worked, but then the cup exploded. I've read that air can get trapped and cause this, so I opened and closed it before brewing to make sure the air was back out before brewing (and I cleared it again), it seemed to work , but after several tea leaves it didn't give me the right cup size so I brushed it again. It worked again, but on the second brew (open and close again to deflate) the K-Pod exploded. My little $30,000 pod brewer works 10x better, the only downside is I have to add water every time. waste of money.
