Tim tested this product on May 12, 2018 and gave it one star because the C-clamp and adapters could not be properly aligned during the pressing process. Well I tried pressing in a 2004 F-150 ball joint and found the same problem. I found the adapters and C-clamp to be quite strong overall (wish the threaded rod was heavier steel). However, the unthreaded hole in the C-clamp is simply shaped and not properly machined to accept adapters. Therefore, the adapter cannot sit flat in clamp C and maintain alignment. This causes the abs to want to come off center when you start screwing/pushing. When I first looked at the C-Clip I was surprised that the hole wasn't chiseled. Maybe it was a normal step that just wasn't in a few sentences? Very disappointing. That problem aside, it could be a good kit. Another issue I noticed was that the threads on the threaded rod deformed a bit. The rotating end of the screw rod also deformed slightly as it hit the screw rod. Makes me think this can't be a good high performance kit. But if the adapters fit snugly in the C-clamp I would expect the tool to last a while.
