Mounting frame is ok. Low profile and fairly durable. Mirror is nonsense. The problem is that the mirror's plastic frame isn't rigid enough to keep it from vibrating violently at speeds over 40 mph. I replaced the mirrors with the steel mirrors I had. My advice: spend your extra money and buy a set of steel mirrors. "Stainless steel" - no. The mounting frame is chrome-plated. Mounting screws and fasteners are poorly zinc plated and NOT stainless steel. The threaded inserts in the curved element to which the mirror is attached rusted after the first rain.
