This is a great motorcycle seat cover. Bought a seat for my 2000 ZR-7, custom made the foam and was able to cover it with a 1.5" x 54" piece. Since this is my first fabric project, I was a bit apprehensive about the rate and check method. for the seat cover because I just didn't know what would fit. It seemed like a solid product and I'm happy with the result! If you look at the picture you can see it actually sews really well! Any vinyl seat cover will work, but you can use tape on the standard metal presser foot to reduce friction. As this was my first sewing project I was very happy with the result with this material. The only reason I gave it 4 stars (instead of 5) is that I was a bit disappointed that it was only 17.5 inches and not 18 inches (1.5 feet) as the description said. Keep this in mind if you think your application is going to be tight. What saved me for my application was the ability to even out that half inch.
