Review on TERRAMASTER D5 Thunderbolt 3: Versatile 5-Bay RAID Hard Drive Enclosure by Greg Usry

I couldn't mount it for the rest of my life. For some reason TerraMaster used the HighPoint Raid Management software for this particular item, which makes absolutely no sense to me. Seemingly simple instructions are in fact unnecessarily complicated. I really wanted it to work. It's beautifully built. Experience with the older brother of the USB 3.0 version, which worked like clockwork, gave me confidence in this purchase. But after 2 hours of troubleshooting and not being able to mount drives at all. I do not recommend this. Very disappointed as there are currently so few options for raid solutions using Thunderbolt 3. My hardware was a 2017 MacBook Pro and a 2017 iMac Pro.
