Almost no change

There is a 5G tower near my house and I thought it might be interfering with TV stations broadcasting on RF 31-36 as my antenna has a very high signal on RF 39 (623MHz ) receives ). Channel 4 (actually channel 34) flickers heavily when viewed and its subchannels. I hope the Philips LTE filter will solve my problem as it should either block or attenuate signals transmitted at 610MHz and higher. The Signal GH app still shows RF 39 at 100% signal strength and no noticeable change on stations with a higher real channel number. Not sure if the Philips LTE filter will work or if a second filter is needed to see the improvement. At least it was only $9 compared to antennas from antenna manufacturers (Channel Master, Sky Blue Antennas, etc.) that cost $20. Update December 29, 2020 Try it while I'm using their HDHomeRun network tuner. Their filter reduced the signal strength on RF 39 from 100% to 58%, suggesting that the Philips LTE filter does not provide enough attenuation to minimize 5G interference, at least in my location.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
