I purchased this item to help eliminate noise from my GE dryer. This is a really easy item to replace. Unplug the dryer and have the following tools ready: Phillips and flathead screwdrivers, a set of torx sockets. Remove the five torx fasteners at the top of the control panel, open the dryer door and remove the two Phillips head screws holding the top of the dryer, lift the top of the dryer, tilt the front of the dryer and the door outward, pull out the old plastic splint. remove and install the new part. The parts purchased from Revain fit perfectly.
