Replacing the original gas pipe with Yamaha MT-07 for this unit is a good upgrade. Note that this does not "improve throttle response" by itself - it would require a change in fuel curve through remapping. What it does is increase the speed at which the throttle bodies open when you twist the throttle. Thus, throttle actuation is faster and less throttle twist is required. A piece of advice: Before installing a new hose, make sure that both throttle cables have as much free play (pressure and tension) as possible. Once attached, use the cable adjusters to set the correct free play.
