This superb tripod is durable, versatile and lightweight. The remote control is pretty dodgy and I thought I'd take pictures when I didn't, but then I discovered that holding the button for a second, not just pressing it, is the trick. I don't know if this is a defect on my part or if it's a common phenomenon, so I don't care much about it, more about convenience. There is a case and a very short charging cable for the controller, but it's a standard USB so I use a spare and keep it in my bag just in case.
