Tastes Better Than Expected

Background/Perspective: Although I grew up eating Powerade and Gatorade, I've never used an electrolyte blend before, except for a few Gatorade flavors that come to mind quickly. Darling of the time, Frost Glacier Freeze. I tried this product as I am trying to lose weight, eat less and exercise more. My intention is to supplement the nutrients I may not be getting from food and since it's hot outside this seems like a good idea. I eat relatively healthy, mostly whole foods, and watch my diet. I don't run marathons and only use the powder when I'm training hard for more than an hour or when it's too hot outside. After looking at many online reviews about electrolyte powders and researching the most recommended products, I settled on this one as it is the only nutrient above the daily value that is vitamin C. I've noticed that other brands have an excess of B vitamins or something that I don't need. Product interpretation: tastes better than I expected. I don't like the taste of stevia; I tasted the leaves of the plants and noticed an unpleasant taste. Reading people's comments on this product it was mentioned that the taste of stevia is not strong, I agree after trying it. The stevia flavor is fairly light, while blueberry and raspberry are the main flavors. However, as others have noted, not all of the powder dissolves. If this is due to a formula change, as other reviews suggest, that's unfortunate. While this doesn't really bother me since the best I can eat is 1 serving every other day, it can be annoying for other marathoners. I generally just add more water, stir vigorously, and drink quickly to swallow any undissolved debris at the bottom. Overall: I give this product 3 stars because while it tastes better than expected, it doesn't all resolve, it sounds like a later issue after the formula was changed. However, I bought a 30 serving dip and in the end, although I thought the taste was pretty good, I'm willing to try more. Variety is nice.
