These are just rivets, nothing special. Since the rivet is stainless steel, as is the anvil (or whatever they call the pin), they are very difficult to break with a standard rivet gun. I could do this with my stock Craftsman pistol, but it certainly wasn't easy. It's not the rivets fault, just part of the fact that it's all stainless steel. If you want an all stainless steel rivet this is a good buy.
