Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Women's Five Ten Freerider MTB Shoes by Ricky Habbani

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great MTB shoe

They were damn good, pretty sticky for flat petals and well made. I never got off the Petals, felt safe and rode a cheap pair of Wellgo flat Petals, MG-2 platform, about $35/40, with interchangeable adjustable pins. I usually wear women's trousers and these fit me. Roomy toe but not sloppy and liked the removable insole. I thought it could have had a little better support in the forefoot. My regular mountain bike shoes (Shimano MT 32) with additional cleat attachments are much stronger and more rigid in the forefoot for support. So something between what Shimano has and my 510 Freerider would be a good compromise for a full day on the bike. Will I recommend them and buy them again? Yes. The color combo isn't bad either, not too much pink to be overpowering because I hate it when manufacturers think they have to make all women's sporting goods colorful and girly. nothing but pink and purple. FYI I'm a 61 year old female in good physical shape and I still ride mountain bike trails at places like Mammoth Mountain Ca. and the Tahoe rim on intermediate and some advanced cross country trails and descents.
