Type of review

I've tried clipless pedals and couldn't quite master them, so I chose Shimano Pd-Mx80 pedals and someone recommended cycling shoes Five ten. My first reaction after trying them on was that they looked a little chunky and looked like regular sneakers. Although I find them a bit stiff, they are lightweight and worth the money! These shoes stick to the pins on the platform pedals and it feels like my feet are stuck or "getting stuck". I have noticed that my pedaling movements are stronger and more

Waterproof and non-slip!

Straight out of the box they are very comfortable and just the right size. I usually take the 9 for women but after reading some reviews I got an 8.5. I commute to work daily and when my platform shoes get wet my sneakers slip everywhere. I love this shoe and have never had a problem slipping in the wet. I have ridden in the rain a lot and they are really waterproof. BUT my socks are not. I don't wear long pants and the water collects at the ankle and my socks suck it all up into the boot and…

Great MTB shoe

They were damn good, pretty sticky for flat petals and well made. I never got off the Petals, felt safe and rode a cheap pair of Wellgo flat Petals, MG-2 platform, about $35/40, with interchangeable adjustable pins. I usually wear women's trousers and these fit me. Roomy toe but not sloppy and liked the removable insole. I thought it could have had a little better support in the forefoot. My regular mountain bike shoes (Shimano MT 32) with additional cleat attachments are much stronger and more
