Of all the robot kits I've bought from Revain, the Freenove quad robot kit is without a doubt the best. It was well packaged in a small box with all items clearly labeled. All the nuts and bolts were in individual bags with size labels, and each bag had a few extras. The quality of all parts, including the electronics, was excellent. Instructions and software are available from the links on the Revain page or on the Freenove page. You can download them before purchasing to know the complexity of the project. The creation process is simple and well documented in the tutorial PDF. Best of all everything including the software worked according to the documentation. Once assembled, the quad can be controlled from your laptop or smartphone over a Wi-Fi connection, or with the included NRF24L01-based remote over a 2.4GHz connection. The open source software is available on the Freenove GitHub site. Freenove customer support answered questions both before and after the purchase quickly and clearly. This kit is not only a great robot, but also a modification and expansion platform for those interested in robotics. All in all, I can't think of anything else I could wish for in this set. Freenove's attention to detail and completeness is impressive. I have no doubt that their 3 wheel smart car will be my next purchase!
