Review on Love & Sage Organic Sunday Morning Lip Balm (Bergamot) by Lisa Barber

I'd like to deduct a few points from Revain for shipping (it's a lip balm that comes in a tiny box, slightly larger than a tube, but it needed a huge plastic envelope? Really?), but the product itself absolutely lives up to the hype I've seen on other sites. All year round I have had an odd dry scaly patch on the right side of my upper lip and with the onset of cold weather this dry patch quickly spread all over the upper lip and peeled and peeled until my lip became sore. , dense and burning 24/7. Exfoliating and drinking more water alone didn't help, so I decided to invest in this lip balm based on reviews in magazines and other websites. Good decision! Immediately after application my lips calmed down and at night I woke up with already partially healed lips looking much better. The next day I reapplied it at night and my lips were again noticeably closer to full healing, although two days prior there was an open cut on either side of my upper lip due to skin deterioration. I forgot to apply it last night before bed but I only have a small area of dry skin this morning which I think will fade quickly with continued use. My lips also look smoother and healthier overall and I love the way the lip balm smells when applied. It has good staying power, especially during the night, and is both a handy fix for my problem and for feeling a little spoiled in the middle of the day or before bed. I highly recommend it if you are not allergic to any of the few ingredients and plan on buying another tube soon so I can prescribe one for home use and one for my purse. Generally amazing!
