These things are really strong. If you know the scent of Sentry's Soothing Spray, this collar is exactly the same. Again, like I said in my spray review, if you're prone to migraines, this probably isn't a good product for you. The fragrance does not smell like essential oils of lavender and chamomile. It smells of lavender and chamomile scent. It seems to calm our dog down. And since he's past his professional makeover and doesn't care at all about the stylish collar they added to his style, some level of extra calm is required. Having a soothing collar instead of multiple sprays was just a benefit for us. I'll try to clarify if this continued as they say all month. Today his tranquilizer collar had been removed for some reason and although there was no difference between day and night, today he was clearly more nervous and aggressive. More like the difference between dusk and midnight. Still. We take it for $5 a month.
