Much lighter than a compact hand pump, not as easy and stable as a full size floor pump - I would say it's a great compromise between a compact pump and a full size pump that always works still fits bike frame. Easy to pump as you can plant it on the ground. This served as my only pump for a few tire changes and it didn't die on me or was bad enough to make me feel like I needed a full size floor pump. The gauge could be more accurate, it jumps in psi every few pumps at higher pressure. I refuse to inflate my tires to max with it as I'm not sure if it will give me a higher max pressure. I feel the pump is quite capable of running on my tires (700x25c). Plastic that has no real support except when closed. A stiff piece of wire would probably work better. It allows you to drive out of your apartment without too much fuss and get close enough to your chosen PSI to either keep going or find another pump depending on how PSI picky you are or if you have a gauge with you.
