Review on Sunlite EJV 150W MR16 GX5 3 by Dawn Miranda

I bought this Sunlite lamp as a compatible replacement for the Usio EJV21V150W lamp used in the Vision Engineering microscope. A microscope light box is very similar to a slide projector and has a cooling fan. Usio bulbs typically last 2-3 years before burning out. But the first Sunlite bulb burned out after a week. Glad I bought two bulbs so I didn't have to wait for replacements. The second lamp worked for 3 weeks until it burned out. Glad I ordered two more bulbs while we were using the second bulb. The third bulb is still working after 4 weeks, so it's possible that the first two were somehow damaged. Every time a lightbulb burned out, we checked to see if the fan was working. I recommend buying at least two bulbs in case of early failure.
