I bought a set of steel rims and snow tires for my 2019 GMC Canyon and also crossed my fingers and ordered this TPMS hoping it would work as it's significantly cheaper than most others there. My mechanic installed them and mounted the tyres/rims. He had a mod computer that didn't work with their setup, but I went into DIC on my base model truck: Tire Pressure Monitoring -> Reset -> Are you sure you want to go into learn mode -> Yes. The horn blew, he picked up the tool and walked around and they matched very quickly. The pressure was very close to what was in the tire (maybe 0.2psi). For the first time in a long time, all four tires are off at 35psi. Excellent purchase. I'm very glad I didn't spend 3-4x what they cost. The savings went into mounting four tires on the rims, balancing and mounting.
